Situated on the Dockland’s waterfront development this 12 level corporate office is home to 1000 National Foods’ employees. The space includes an office building, a retail site, a food precinct and a community space.
Conditioned air is provided to the office floors via a general variable air volume control (VAV) system. The main plant, thermal / air handling equipment, and rainwater harvesting tank are unobtrusively located on the top level. Provisions have also been made for a future blackwater treatment plant.
Steam boilers, reticulated steam piping, cool rooms and freezers were all installed uniquely for the tenant’s test lab.
A Site Environmental Management Plan (SEMP) along with bi-monthly external audits and continuous internal management and maintenance has begun. A Waste Management Plan has been in use for the duration of the construction and fit out, with 90 per cent of all waste generated removed and recycled.
