A 31 level hotel tower and a 26 level office tower link together with a refurbished GPO by a grand glazed courtyard to make up No. 1 Martin Place, Sydney.
James L. Williams breathed new life into the old GPO and the 21st Century Westin Hotel Tower by incorporating modern environmental management systems and negotiating the myriad of technical and construction issues that are unique to heritage refurbishment.
The end result was a refreshed and revitalised building with modern amenities that retained its heritage look and feel.
